Cancer Research, UK. Race For Life, Shrewsbury 2023.
INTune Radio CIC were delighted to host Cancer Research UK’s Race For Life event in Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park in June 2023.
Volunteer Dale hosted the event, and our volunteers used the bandstand as our base to gain truly heartfelt messages from runners and walkers – truly inspiring!
It was an amazing day, and we can’t thank CRUK enough for allowing ITR to be part of it, in a small way for the local community.
We couldn’t sum up any better than CRUK’s Area Events Manager Richard Healey:

Home-Start Telford and Wrekin – Promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.
Little Stars Baby Bank – Providing quality essentials for babies, children and pregnant women.
FOOD BANKS
Food Bank Plus and Family Focus – Organises and distributes parcels of donated food, toiletries, cleaning products and household items to individuals and families every week.
Shrewsbury Food Hub – We collect surplus food from shops, manufacturers and farms and share it with local groups.
