What does volunteering mean to you?

We asked a few of our young volunteers what it has meant to them…

We’re so lucky to be able to offer a platform for young people to experience radio and grow in themselves as a result.

The only unfortunate, they leave us  – but they go on in their education to do wonderful things.

We’ve received a wonderful catch up note from Olivia Chapman, she features in the first video below, she says:
“I just wanted to give you an update on what my next steps have looked like since leaving INTune.

Once I completed all of my A-Level exams from May-June, I spent my summer ticking off some bucket list trips! I managed to visit Milan, Malaga, Dublin and Amsterdam, as well as a trip to London and attended Reading Festival!

I received my A-Level results showing that I had passed all of my subjects and had got into my first choice university, Nottingham Trent! At the same time as receiving my university offer, I was offered a digital marketing apprenticeship working for an international Intranet company in Telford where I would be creating, managing and producing their digital marketing/running their social media.
After much consideration, I accepted my apprenticeship offer and am now working as a digital marketeer in Telford.

I am so excited to see where this new journey takes me!

I could not have achieved this without you and the experience you gave me at INTune Radio!
Thank you for the opportunities you gave me during my time at the radio, I definitely couldn’t have done it without you.”
