Pioneering new show : Your Memories Matter

INTune Radio has launched a groundbreaking new radio show: ‘Your Memories Matter’. This pioneering initiative is the first radio programme of its kind in Shropshire that has been specifically created to support people and families affected by memory loss, injury, or dementia.

Your Memories Matter’ is built on the latest scientific techniques to ensure a gentle, comforting, and warm listening environment. The nostalgic show features no loud idents or advertising to interrupt the flow of the show, which focuses purely on curated content designed to safely evoke positive memories and nostalgia.

At its core, this project is deeply rooted in local community care and is supported by local sponsors Radfield Home Care and local charity We Are Listening. Shropshire residents, Radfield Home Care clients and We Are Listening service users are being actively invited to get involved by sharing their own stories from the past and selecting music, collaborating on local events, and even visiting INTune Radio’s studio in Shrewsbury’s Darwin Centre to see the show being recorded or take part themselves.

First episode is airing on Sunday 06th September at 10am, it will be repeated the same day at 6pm.
