INTune Radio CIC are the only community radio station in Shropshire, formed in 2020 and now based in the Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury. Our 30+ volunteers, some with SEN, are passionate about connecting communities across Shropshire. Equality and diversity matter, we’ve created a platform that charity and community organisations can use for free, an accessible platform to all that has been used by more than 120 local charities, community organisations and local bands.

We can be listened to across all digital platforms reaching 7000 listeners, and 40,000+ people, each month through social media. We attend local events and partner with local festivals. We’ve ran competitions in schools, enabled school children from different backgrounds to appear on stage at a festival for the first time, and developed a project called School Radio Club.

School Radio Club is being implemented into schools across Shropshire and it has gained the support of many local businesses, Shropshire Community Foundation, the High Sheriff of Shropshire, Volunteer Assembly, The Cube, Shropshire Council, Shropshire Music Services and Shropshire Virtual School.

1. To empower people in our Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin communities who feel they have no or little platforms available to them to voice their stories.
2. For charities and community groups to use our platform to tell their good news stories and for community focused businesses to advertise.
3. To bring about real and positive change in our communities by working together.
