Youth Awareness Day Takeover of INTune Radio

We’ve partnered with Jane Trowbridge, the current High Sheriff of Shropshire for the Youth Awareness Day Takeover of INTune Radio on Thursday 16th October 2025.

A handful of market town young people have been selected and trained at INTune Radio and they’ll be taking over our LIVE broadcasting for the day.
They’ll be joined by young guests from schools across Shropshire who’ll take part in discussions and interviews about issues affecting them and young people across Shropshire. The subjects include mental health, youth hubs and clubs and sports facilities, substance abuse, safeguarding, county lines, and travel provision. There’ll be music and live performances from some the counties most inspiring young singers with the first debut LIVE performance of Day by Day, a local collaborative dance track we hope to release to help raise funds.

Youth Awareness Day Takeover is designed to spotlight the needs and potential of young people across Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin and to raise much needed funds for local youth charities which support them. We encourage you to donate to make a real and lasting impact – one which can change lives – just £20 will pay for mental health counselling..
